Deacons are servants who provide for the caring ministry of the church and promote unity within the fellowship. (Acts 6:1-7) By equipping themselves with truth, peace, faith, and humility, these people desire to lead others to love and worship Christ wholeheartedly. As Christ came not to be served, but rather to serve others, in this same manner, deacons take their roles to help all people.
